MIND’S EYE: Buried deep within the center of the brain, the pineal gland has a structure similar to our lateral eyes.
For thousands of years, the pineal gland was recognized as the human body’s connection to deeper realms of thought—a window into other dimensions. While this notion has faded with the passing of time, science has begun to focus its efforts toward understanding the secret functions of the “hidden eye.”
The Pineal Gland
In my youth, chats with my father embraced both the scientifically observable and the paranormal. One of the most exciting topics I can remember was the phenomenon of near-death experiences, in which patients report temporary excursions outside their physical body while exhibiting clinical death. My father used to stress that over his years of study in medical school, he learned that organs permitting humans to observe scenes from outside their bodies do no exist beyond the physical eyes.
Twenty years later when I found myself in the corridors of the same university, an anatomy professor revealed a mysterious fact that my father had failed to mention during our discussions. He talked of a secret sheltered in a network of cells so small and hidden, yet still able to control vital metabolic processes. It was a hidden eye.
The Third Eye
Imagine a visual organ able to peer at spaces beyond our physical world. What strange creature possesses such curious abilities? Humankind. The pineal body, a tiny glandular treasure nestled in the center of the head, is not only capable of perceiving external light much like our pair of lateral eyes, but its actual structure is also similar to the common eye in a more primitive state.
The pineal gland performs a host of important bodily functions, such as sexual development, metabolism, and the production of melatonin. Yet scientists have found features present in the pineal gland that elude a simple explanation. Because of the unique structure of this organ, scientists have concluded that it must have once served some now latent functions. Modern medicine has revealed that this gland buried deep within the center of the brain contains photoreceptor cells. Yet the predominant opinion is that these features merely describe latent abilities from an earlier age in our evolution.
According to science’s evolutionary understanding of the pineal body, this organ once existed as a disordered system of nerve fibers located outside the surface of the skull. It specialized in capturing changes in light, providing its owner with more escape possibilities in the event of a predator’s attack. This understanding sees the pineal gland performing functions similar to the eyes, the only difference being in its curious insistence on receding inside the skull.
A recent hypothesis proposed by David Klein, head of Neuroendocrinology at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), suggests that primitive retinas had exercised the dual function of both capturing the image and producing melatonin. He believes that over time this latter function had migrated to the pineal gland, an emancipated organ, while the degeneration of the retina as a product of melatonin in mammals continues without coherent explanation.
Even though nowadays the pineal gland is recognized as being good for secreting endogens, it’s certain that it still contains an important photosensorial capacity, a bodily process that is scientifically recognized.
Surprisingly, if both eyes were removed and the anatomical path from the frontal area of this gland was exposed to light, this organ could still respond to stimulus in a similar manner as the lateral eyes. This fact has some researchers considering whether the pineal gland is more than a degenerated eye.
What if many of the still misunderstood processes of the brain reside in this small conical space?
A Window to Heightened Awareness
According to Dr. Sérgio Felipe de Oliveira, Master of Science at the University of São Paulo’s medical school and director of the Pineal Mind Clinic, an increase in pineal activity is intimately related with psychic activity such as visions or meditation.
Furthermore, besides the multiple endogenous functions of the pineal gland (control of the hypothalamus and biological rhythms, and protection from free radicals) it is also responsible for emitting N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), known by some as the “spirit molecule.” The liberation of this molecule is considered to be one of the most powerful hallucinogenic neurotransmitters known to man. It increases during sleep, in certain meditative states, during near-death experiences, as well as with the ingestion of hallucinogenic plants.
Skeptics question the validity of these supposed episodes of heightened awareness into other dimensional planes, preferring instead to believe such experiences to be merely chemically induced phenomena limited to the brain. But they have trouble offering a reasonable explanation for the relationship of the liberation of DMT (and the consequent formation of images in the pineal) with near-death experiences.
Such is recognized by Dr. Rick Strassman, who has conducted exhaustive studies of the effects of DMT in humans. Research of this kind begins to approach the pineal gland as more than a vestigial eye relegated to producing hormones, but as an inborn window into other planes of existence.
This view of the pineal gland is not new. It represents the sixth chakra of ajna spoken of in the Vedic tradition, the window of Brahma as it is known in Hinduism, the Celestial Eye as the ancient Chinese call it, the Niwan Palace as it is known by Taoists, or the “Seat of the Soul” according to Descartes.
Could this tiny cone hidden at the center of the brain embody the potential to peer into realms that science is simply unable to grasp?

Today we’re gonna cover “Acceleration of Abilities”. As we near 2012, the planets in our solar system are heating up and rising in frequency. Every living and non-living thing on each planet is also rising in frequency, including every cell in our bodies. Many people have innate abilities that they were born with, such as the ability to have out of body experiences and psychic abilities. In this video, we’ll discuss ways to develop these abilities in which you should start seeing immediate results within your first week.
Seeing Auras
An aura is an energy field that surrounds all living and non-living things. Everything is interconnected in our solar system. Each one of the cells in our bodies generates electricity. As we’ve seen with lightning, electricity connects with others bolts of lightning to create chain lightning, as like attracts like. Our bodies are conductors for electricity and as we’re seeing as we near 2012, like-minded people are attracting like-minded people.
Your aura is an electromagnetic field that surrounds your body. Look into a mirror and gaze at a spot a few inches away from your ear or top of your head. At first, you might see an nearly invisible field of energy about one inch from your head. As you continue to focus on this area, a color will begin to show. This is the color of the energy your body is emitting. It’s like a lie detector. You can tell if people are living in negativity or fear by the color of their auras, which will be have red or black. You can also see auras in other objects such as a tree or a seashell. With practice, this ability will become easier and easier to do.
Telepathy
Gregg Braden mentioned a study in which mass meditation was used to measure global effects on behavior and proving how everything is connected. The results of this test showed that the act of consciousness affected behavior
Crystals can be seen as plasmatocytes in a blood analysis. Fiber optics work on a thin crystal fiber technology that transmits information over thin lines of this material. ESP can be developed in a similar way by creating visual waves of energy and transmitting these waves to another person though thought, concentration and visualization. In theory, our thoughts create the holograms for the images which are sent from one person to another.
Here’s how two people can work on telepathy. Find five pairs of small household items. Each person will sit back to back with one set of these items in front of them. One person will pick up an item and try to send a telepathic message to the other, while the other tries to guess what that item is. The person sending the telepathic messages can experiment in different ways on telepathically sending the object, such as envisioning many of the same object in a group or associating the object with your other senses. When the person has guessed which item was sent telepathically, both participants will hold the item out to their side to compare their results. If you’re using 5 items, you have a 1 in 5 chance in guessing correctly. If your results are over 20% correct, then you’re beating the probability of chance. If your results are over 50%, then you’re developing this ability quite well.
Feeling Color
Each of us has a projective and receptive hand. Our receptive hand is the opposite of the hand we use the most. In other words, if you’re right-handed, your receptive hand is your left hand.
Every color has a vibration. Red vibrates higher than black, so in this experiment, we’ll be using playing cards. Try to find a blue deck of cards, because a red deck might throw you off. As I mentioned, the color red vibrates at a higher frequency than black, so with your receptive hand, you’ll be able to feel the color of the suit and how many there are of that particular suit. With practice, you’ll eventually be able to guess the correct color and number of hearts, clubs, spades or diamonds with a much higher success rate versus chance.
Here’s what you do. Remove all of the face cards in a deck of playing cards, then shuffle the non-face cards. Lay one card face down. Place your receptive hand over the card and move it side to side and back and forth, trying to feel the presence of heat in that hand. For example, a 10 of hearts will feel warmer than a 3 of hearts because there are more red hearts and more color vibration.
Telekinesis
Similar to telepathy, telekinesis uses the mind to move objects. There is a plethora of information about this on YouTube, but I’ll cover this briefly on this video. Telekinesis is very difficult to do and takes incredible concentration. When beginning to experiment with telekinesis, start out with small, light weight objects. Expect to put in a lot of time and effort before you begin to see results. Don’t ever become frustrated if you don’t receive immediate results.
You have the ability to do so much more than what you’ve ever dreamed! Always try to push your perceived limits and please remember, the only person who can hold you back is yourself.
